Version 0.4 is out now! I replayed it myself and noticed a few things where broken so I fixed them and then took some of the player suggestions and added them in as well! Below is a list of everything that was done with this patch.

Fixed:

- NPC animations not working.

- NPC name being the player's name instead of a Mage Tower contestant.

-Book puzzle NPC stands out a little better so you can talk to him to get the correct answer. (previously it seemed it was a background piece by a few players)

-Fixed if player has the same name as Nemi she now has her proper dialogue instead of not saying anything before giving the player an item.

-Added more bats/pumpkin decor to some areas.

-Bardic's hall has decor now.

-Cackle Keep areas now have display names. (Due to the mage tower puzzles I didn't give them names)

Added:

- Names that can change the player's appearance, a list of names will be at the bottom of this update page if you don't want to see them then don't look! This will not include the secret word, though that has been hidden in part of this update!

-Screenshots! I didn't know how to design them so I just went with what I thought might work.

- An NPC near the billboard at Cackle Grounds to hint to double check the billboard for easter eggs (not game play changing just for fun)

-NPC that hints about getting the highest score and if the player is near it will let them know. (this is so that players can try to get the "true ending")

-Added ghosts that float about! They don't harm you an are just for the Halloween feel. Please let me know if this causes some areas to lag as I can remove them or set a switch to have them removed for those who lag.

- Added a secret: Maxes out the player's Pumpkin Hearts to let them just mess around. I do not know if this will severely mess up the end game cutscenes so there is a warning when you find it before you activate it. You may need to play the game at least once before finding the correct spell unless you know your spells. This secret is early on and easily missable. (But then again it's literately god mode besides time)

Names that change your appearance:

Vron, Vronnyka, Spencer, Minotaur, UltimaAvatar, BAM, Dextra, Spider, Bardic, Phnogg, Carl, Merchant, Ned, Doria, Homie, Nemi, Owl

You can then rename your character again to get the selected name that you'd like if you just wanted the skin of these NPCs.
